Hi, *
Tarelgal! You've been selected for an interview in a our blog,
"Meet the Group"!
--What sort of pieces can someone expect to find in the group's gallery? Give us a taste of what your group is like!
Well because we love all literature, there is a wide variety in this group. From Poetry to long chapter fan-fiction to original works to journals and essays. We have all kinds of all different levels. The only thing that is not allowed in the group is pictures (sadly that includes cover art)
--How long have you been writing for? Have you always known you'd like to be a writer?
I personally have been writing for almost 20 years. My first story I got mad at it and threw it away... No, I just love to write whether is makes since or not, I just like getting my ideas out of my head and on to paper right now it is two fan-fictions and two fantasy stories that I am currently working on. --Where do you find your inspiration to write? Are there any deviants you find inspiring?
My surroundings and my lifestyle. There are a some but mostly it's pieces that stand out more to me. In the group there are some really good writers and I really enjoy reading their works. Some of them I fav and/or comment on because they stood out.--What do you find difficult about being a writer? And what do you find rewarding about being a writer?
The most difficult thing that I find about writing is separating my thoughts into chapters. It is a challenge but I am working on it I can't seem to think that way. I find rewarding is having readers react to my story and see what impacts them. I want readers to cry at points when I cried, feel overjoyed at the same points I did, and get horribly frustrated by characters just like me...--What are some of your favourite pieces in your group?
Now see that is a toughie....
Heartless GuardPart I
She was his queen, he was her guard.
Eyes cold like stone; face marble-hard.
And every day, he played his part:
A being of strength without the heart.
The queen, in turn, embraced her role:
With quiet grace, held firm control.
From day to day, the duty called,
And maintained order in her world.
She ruled the lives, all proud and strong;
Decisions made were never wrong.
With conflicts settled, peace in court,
She earned respect and great support.
And all this time, he stood nearby,
Just close enough to hear her sigh.
And to unveil the hidden sorrow,
In darkened night and sunlit morrow.
Queen's trusted guard,

My Little Brother Can TeleportMy little brother can teleport.
And this is true, I tell you of sorts.
When no one is around except me, I found,
He would always be there without a sound.
My little brother has cameras throughout our house,
And they all must be as silent as a mouse.
For I never see them but he always knows,
Just where I am, there he always goes.
My mother and father didn't believe me, of course,
They'd sooner believe I could use the Force.
Why, how could their precious son,
Live to annoy his older brother for fun.
My mother and father are in on it for certain,
And act as if they're hidden behind a curtain.
For I know my little brother can telepo

CrookedEverything I am is wrong.
Do I mind? On the contrary; I chose this warped path long ago and am ever on the lookout for travel companions. I take pride in my ability to twist everything I touch.
Take Cat for instance. I got him young, bought him off a passing caravan on a whim. There was just something about him, a look in his eyes that drew me to the clean slate of his soul and promised me it would be so easy to mark it. I knew I had made the right call when he came to me without a struggle. He just dropped what little of a life he had managed to make for himself and followed me home. Lucky thing, too; he's damn useful.
You see, people kno

A New YearMy exhausted body swims through the thick moist air of my living room, as if floating through a restless body of water. Towards my bed, towards salvation; towards sleep. I pass through the hallway and into my bedroom where, beside the window, lay the carriage that would take me to my dreams. I drop, face first, into the pillow, their cloud-like texture caressing my face.
I wiggle out of my attire and into the safety beneath the covers, as I close my eyes in the hopes of swiftly falling asleep. My head, however, is still reeling. So many thoughts of so little substance, unbearably oppressive and obnoxiously frivolous.
I open my eyes to clea
There are more but I would have to go through all the folders...there being so many pieces.....
--What's the most rewarding thing about being the founder of a group?
I enjoy reading all of the different stories and all of the different levels. It is neat to see how all the writers write and interpret concepts. I also enjoy helping them figure out things, writing exercises, promoting members and getting to know to how to run a group.
--How long has this group been around for?
2 years going on three--And what made you want to create #
LiteratureAnonymous? What aspects of the group do you enjoy the most?
I did not create the group I was promoted within to be founder. I have been founder for a little over a year now. I wanted to keep members informed of what is going and going through my head. Since I became founder membership has increased dramatically, standards are set for admins, and successfully ran and completed two contest and help boost knowledge about NaNoWriMo in October.
I really enjoy writing the blogs because I believe that information is power and if the members know all that they need to know then the admins don't have do that much extra work. Plus I always promote asking if any of them have questions regarding their work, contest, or general information. All the admins are polite and respond with a cheerful smile.
It's odd I can say I enjoy handling complaints. I have handled a few tough complaints about the group but not one of those that complained left the group, they stayed and eventually understood my position. I have rules. I enforce rules. Plain and simple.
--Any parting words for fellow writers out there?
Keep every idea. Even if it is the dumbest idea or a rip off of something you like. Jot down the basic concept and go back to it later. Who knows you may need something like that for a random story prompt...or contest!
Don't be afraid to get to know your characters. Letting them grow with you and change with you adds to the character. Your dream guy may be one thing when you're young and will be something different when you are older. Ideals and thoughts change in us, why not your characters.--Thanks for taking part in our interview!
Thanks for the honor, this was fun. ^^

So there you have it, folks! This group is perfect for contest by the way and should they know of contest in other groups they are sure to promote them!
Leave a comment for any ideas or suggestions to put a part of this blog, a group you'd like to feature here, OR if you've got any questions about/for the group. Thanks for reading this and keeping loving literature!
